Picture Book Review

I received Anabella Giggles All Day Picture book as an ebook that I read using my the free kindle reader application on Amazon.  I was quite impressed with the bright, high-color quality of illustrations in the 40-page picture book.  There was alot of scenery to look at in every page which made it a great picture book.  It was easy for Kaiden, my five-year old, to follow the story line, as well.

The story of happy (and giggly) Anabella and her best friend is happy-ending book.  It deals with feelings, friendship, and lots of giggling!   That’s what I liked about it so much in that it taught about social issues and most picture books don’t deal with those issues at all.  Especially for picture books suited for ages 3-6 years old.  The book illustrated that friendships can be challenged and people can get hurt but the power of friendship really wins at the end.  Adults can relate to it as well.. we can never stay mad at our best friends, can we?  We forgive and laugh about it later.  That’s what this book is about!

The ebook can also be viewed on Android tablet, Blackberry, Ipad, Iphone, Kindle, Mac desktop/laptop computer, PC desktop/laptop computer, Windows Phone, Windows Tablet.

I would recommend purchasing this book solely because it teaches social issues and, as for me, it’s been the first picture book that dealt with that.  So, if you’re looking for a picture book that is more than “A is for Apple”.. this is definitely the book to get.
