Children\’s Book Review – Asher And Watson Set Sail: A Pirate\’s Book
\r\n
\r\n
I received a paperback version of the book Asher and Watson Set Sail A Pirate\’s Book to review.
\r\n
Love this book! I sat down and read this to my 6-year old son Kai. This book is definitely an excellent book for both parent and child. For the parent it\’s a book that you can read and act out while reading to unleash the imagination in a child. Kaiden sat down listening intently to the adventure of Asher and Watson.
\r\n
The author Julie Schoen has captured the imagination of a little boy that loves pirates. There is magic adventures perils and triumph.
\r\n
Who would of thought that a bubble bath mishap could open a magical portal where Asher and Watson set sail for the dangerous Hog\’s Head Island in search of the buried treasure!
\r\n \r\n
\r\n \r\n\r\nAsher and Watson the dog are heading off to find the buried gold treasure and have to pass some adversaries to get to it. The vile caterpillar and Captain Zephyr! Kaiden was surprised how Asher got through when confronted by the Vile Caterpillar and Captain Zephyr all with the help of Watson the dog ! It was fun acting this part out and Kaiden was so much enthralled with what happened next.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nI asked Kaiden how he liked the story and he said I love the pirate story! and said thank you for reading it and gave me a kiss! That\’s how much he liked it. He loved the pirate sayings through out the book.\r\n
